My g/f is only 5'2 and my 2001 Ford Edge has a 4x4 stance so it really is type of high. She was struggling to get in the truck and I felt poor so I picked these up. The directions it came with had been good. We had been able to follow them and had the step bars installed in about an hour or two. The only situation was the directions told me i needed a socket that didn't fit something. I believed the instructions and went to the hardware store and got everything it necessary. Turns out I bought a socket I could not use so it was a waste of $five so just make confident you bring the bolts with you to make confident you are getting the proper sockets for the bolts included.
By the way these appear pretty good on my truck. They look factory in my opinion and my girlfriend loves the step as it makes acquiring into the truck so a lot less complicated.
