Buyer Critiques
I installed these the initially time and regretted not going to the retailer and purchasing washers to location amongst the truck and the step bars. I drove the truck immediately after installation and the bars caused noise when stopping, turning, etc. I called Westin and they mentioned it is a "known issue" and I should really install washers which naturally are NOT included with the bars. So I installed the washers and the helped considerably, but not completely.

I would suggest to other people if you are prepared to tolerate some noise brought on by the bars.
The metal brackets should not touch the frame or you will have a horrible groaning/creaking sound when you turn corners, hit a bump, etc.
etrailer has some amazing installation video's on utube, walmart has a $25 two foot long torque wrench, and really good luck. Blankets and an extra pair of hands aid with installation.
Good solid really feel, no give, give your lady a step up.
Oh, get the chrome, my black ones generally look dirty.
